Therapy sessions are 50 minutes. Sessions typically occur weekly. Meeting weekly is most effective in supporting lasting change. Momentum tends to become lost when sessions are spaced further apart.
How can I make the most out of my time in therapy?
Effective therapy requires you to be an active participant. You and your therapist have a responsibility in maintaining a good working relationship which includes open communication. Expectations and concerns need to be discussed as they arise. Therapy is most successful when sessions are regularly attended.
