I believe healing occurs when a person feels truly
heard and understood.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington. I hold a Master's degree in Existential-Phenomenology Psychology from Seattle University. My undergraduate degree is also in Psychology, with a minor in Culture Studies from Antioch University.

My experience as a psychotherapist has connected me with people from diverse backgrounds. Prior to opening my private practice, I worked in community mental health in the US and Central America.

While I help people facing a variety of challenges, my therapeutic focus is on anxiety and trauma.  I have found EMDR to be a particularly helpful treatment approach in healing both little “t” and big “T” traumas and have been certified through the EMDR Institute.

To support my ability to meet the holistic needs of my clients, I often incorporate somatic and mindfulness treatments with traditional talk therapy.  I am a registered yoga teacher in the Krishnamacharya tradition and love to teach the joy of yoga through both individual sessions and the group classes I teach in my community.

Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I spent over a decade working in corporate America. Desiring more than a paycheck, I made the life-altering decision to seek a career where I could find more meaningful purpose. That journey lead me here and ever since it has been my privilege to help others realize their true potential.
