Individual therapy

Individual therapy focuses on two levels of need-
the immediate and the long term.

You’ll learn strategies to help you move through everyday stresses and symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, or painful emotions.  By focusing on the present moment you’ll work on building non-judgmental awareness of yourself and others. Through the examination of your unique life story, unproductive thinking patterns and unhealthy beliefs will be revealed. And we’ll highlight and make use of the strengths you already possess. The work you do in individual therapy can help you realize your passions and goals.

EMDR therapy

emotional processes

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based treatment that enables people to heal from disturbing life experiences. Just as the physical body can naturally heal from wounds, so can the mind. EMDR therapy helps heal the impact of disturbing events by unblocking the brain’s information processing system and activating the mind’s natural emotional healing process. After successful re-processing, disturbing life events are no longer triggering, and the meaning of the event is transformed emotionally. Shame or fear-based thoughts shift into positive belief systems. This is often expressed as thoughts of survival and empowerment.

Online therapy

Online therapy offers benefits, such as convenience, flexibility,
and accessibility.

All sessions are offered online through a telehealth platform. You can participate in therapy from the comfort of your own home or anywhere with privacy and an internet connection. It works well for people with busy schedules, mobility issues, or who live in areas with limited access to mental health services.
