ONLINE ADJUNCTIVE EMDR THERAPY IN SEATTLE & ACROSS WA + CA

Partnering with you to give clients the care they deserve.

You want your clients to get the support they need—but what if they need something beyond the methods you’re trained in?

Plus, the relationship you’ve fostered with them has been so beneficial—it would be a huge setback if they had to start over with a new therapist. Their relationship with you may be one of the first secure attachments they’ve had, so it can put you in a tough position when they need help with something outside your scope of expertise.

Adjunctive EMDR eliminates the need for clients to choose between treating their trauma and continuing their therapeutic relationship with you.

THIS MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOUR CLIENT…

Is struggling to build momentum in their work with you, even though you’re both working hard.

Has learned about EMDR and wants to try it to address a particular issue but also wants to continue
working with you.

Has identified & processed their feelings around past trauma with you, but continues to be affected by it
in daily life.

Adjunctive EMDR intensives honor your connection with your clients & gives them access to the help they need.

These sessions can either be held concurrently with the work you do together, or the client can choose to take a break from sessions with you while completing their EMDR Intensive.

  • Reach out by filling out the contact form here or sending me an email. We’ll schedule a complimentary 30-minute consultation to discuss the possibility of partnering together to help your client. If we both decide it makes sense to move forward, I’ll then reach out and schedule a complimentary 30-minute consultation with your client to make sure we are a good fit. If they decide to work with me, you and I will meet again to discuss their treatment.

  • I’ll collaborate with both you and your client to develop a customized treatment plan. We’ll then define a timeframe for completing the adjunct EMDR sessions. This will allow you and your client to plan accordingly.

After the EMDR intensive session or sessions are complete, your client will resume regular sessions with you for continued care.

  • Having the expanded support of a “care team” can serve as a healing experience for your client. It will allow them to resolve issues that may be getting in the way of making progress in your work together. With these concerns out of the way, they may be able to be more flexible in their thinking, gain insight into long-term issues, and feel more self-assured in their ability to reach their goals.

YOU DESERVE SUPPORT, TOO.

This collaboration can be beneficial to you and your client.
